Leaders from some of the largest and most-influential churches from across the Portuguese-speaking world were invited to Southern California this month to learn about the vision of Finishing the Task and to be trained in Healthy Church principles for mobilizing their members out into the world for the Great Commission. This was the first time many of these leaders had ever met or spent substantial time together, and one of the fruits of the event was a new, powerful unity in the Portuguese-speaking church leadership. Together, this group committed to raising up healthy, reproducing churches and championing the cause of Finishing the Task in their regions.
